    Boycott Levi jeans

There are a lot of company's that donate money to groups such as handgun control trying to infringe (strip) on your rights. If you do a little research you can avoid giving your hard earned dollars to a company that doesn't want you to posses firearms. Sara Lee is one of them.

    Optimum Coues Cartridge?

I know the animal in this video isnt a coues deer but you may not need to step up to a 26 Nosler from the 6.5 WSM. This one is a little 6.5 Creedmoor

    Cabelas Alaknak 10X10 Tent

I have the older version of this tent its a 9.5 x 9.5 with 3 ft side walls. It has been through some pretty bad storms and never leaked, its light easy to set up, and it holds up real well in the wind. We use Cabelas bunk bed cot, with two folding captain chairs and the wood stove my son and I are really comfortable inside even during heavy storms.

    backpacking tent and bag recommendations

You might take a look at Seek Outside Tipis, they are very high quality, wind/waterproof, and when combined with a stove for heat to dry wet clothing or just get warm after a long day in the field is HUGE. You can also use it to cook on so there is no need to carry a stove and fuel. A tipi with stove is at or far below the weight of a good 4 season tent. The one listed below would make an excellent backpacking shelter with a stove and jack added. I have their 4 man and a large stove for late season Colorado hunts. https://seekoutside.com/the-cimarron/ https://seekoutside.com/silvertip/

    300 win mag model 70

Here is a link for a trigger spring for the M 70. I put one in my M 70 adjusted it, put a little lock tight on the lock nut, and it made a huge improvement. Took about 10 min. tops. http://erniethegunsmith.com/catalog/i35.html

    Unit 33 help please

This will get you going in the right direction. This is a dry state so hunting near remote water sources isnt a bad idea. https://www.azgfd.com/hunting/units/tucson/33

    300 win mag model 70

For those who may not know it, those push feed M 70 can be tack drivers. Was it made in New Haven? It is hard to read the fine print.

    Tall Tales?

Had a guy tell me he could hit a deer at 600 yds first shot even if it was running, I ask him how his rifle was sighted in, he stated 2 inchs high at 100 with a 3x9 scope. When I left the house that day something told me to bring the hip waders.

These make a great scope for an AR a 22 lr, or a compact deer rifle.

    22N December Bull?

Well you hit the nail on the head, walk, glass, great shape and willing to work. That can be a tough hunt, I would look for places where there are elk about 2 to 3 miles from the road or more, that keeps most of the hunters at bay. Very steep or deep canyons are also a plus, so is water in your chosen location. When you find elk in these locations early on, more elk show up as the migration starts. The last bull I took in that unit I found at the end of Sept. along with two giants (which diapered) in a remote location, watched them right up until the first hunt and shot my my bull within 20 minutes of legal shooting light. Good luck!
