If you have the factory bottom metal/mag box I am very interested in the Model 16. What is the action screw spacing?

At 36 oz thats a negative for me. I am also not a fan of the dual ejectors. Other than these two negatives they look to be very well made. great price right now at 659 though.

I have a SS 1500 308 win. that tears ragged holes in the target with factory ammo. I like the action, its very solid.

Something to consider is offering the scope to a youth that needs a scope. I have done this at least twice with take off scopes that came off a used rifle, or $20 for a big kid. good luck!
