Timney makes a trigger with a safety, but needs to installed buy a gunsmith. http://www.midwayusa.com/product/580807/timney-featherweight-deluxe-rifle-trigger-springfield-1903-1903a3-with-safety-1-1-2-to-4-lb-blue -
I have this tent, and its been very solid through several harsh storms with out any leaks. I put a good spark arrester on and never burned a single hole tent and we have used it a lot. We dont use or see any need for the roof protector.

Never was able to hunt with it or shoot it enough to compare the two.

A friend got it done on his third day. He couldn't be happier.

This is the press I use, if you have more than one caliber to load for this is an excellent choice. http://www.cabelas.com/product/Shooting/Reloading/Reloading-Presses-Press-Kits%7C/pc/104792580/c/104761080/sc/104516280/Hornadyreg-Lock-n-Load174-Classic8482-Reloading-Press/739969.uts?destination=%2Fcatalog%2Fbrowse%2Freloading-presses-press-kits%2F_%2FN-1100195%2FNs-CATEGORY_SEQ_104516280%3FWTz_l%3DUnknown%253Bcat104761080&WTz_l=Unknown%3Bcat104761080%3Bcat104516280

I layer my clothing, a lite set of thermals, pants that dry quickly (micro-tec) I also use a heavier wind proof pair of pants, that are not insulated for really cold late season Colorado hunts , wool socks, insulated gore-Tex boots , gaiters are a MUST have for bad weather even when there is nothing but heavy dew at the end of the day your pants are dry, on top a mid weight thermal, a micro-tec shirt maybe a quick dry long sleeve shirt under the heavy shirt, and a 300 gram vest, I have a lighter vest when its not so cold out, two pairs of gloves and the outer most layer MT-50 rain gear, and good hat of your choice, or two. It may be 60 today and 10 degrees and snowing in the morning or worse.

When I was younger and hunting in a premium unit I had left my truck and headed straight up the mountain and across a scree field to a remote basin that always holds good bucks. I was about 250 yards from the dirt road, and hear a women shout BIG BUCK as turn to look in her direction she has her rifle pointed right at me, and her husband/boyfriend is yelling at the top of his lungs NO! This country is wide open sage and I have no where to go as the sage is very short in this very spot. I dont see any deer and drop to the ground firing my rifle into the hillside, I could hear her husband screaming at her and ripped that rifle right out of her hands. There was no deer anywhere to seen. I wear orange when rifle hunting and so do my children. As far as being seen do you really think your hiding from a guy behind a quality pair of binoculars? Or deer seeing you, take a look at Colorado's buck harvest every year. Or stop by a local taxidermist shop in Colorado.
