In my experience that is normal for almost all factory ammo, its 75 to 150 fps slower then claimed. This is one reason I started reloading a long time ago.

I had a 4 man tipi and now I have a cimarron lite. If you want to take a look at it let me know.

Matt have you looked at the seek outside Guardian? It uses trekking poles and it's about 2 pounds and if you ad a stove jack you have something to dry out your gear at night, cook on and it's really nice if it storms.
