I really like the size of the S & W Shield, but it is a low capacity pistol. Mag Guts makes 1 and 2 round follower/spring and base plates for the factory 7/8 round magazines. So your 7 round factory magazine with plus two kit gives you 9 rounds plus one in the chamber, and turns your 8 round factory magazine into a 10 plus 1. After adding the + 2 kit to my factory 7 rounder its still a 1/4 inch shorter then a factory 8 rounder. All the reviews are accurate and I had zero malfunctions. A couple of the reviews state the spring is sharp mine were not, I also didnt find them hard to install, it is tough to get the very last round into the magazine when they are first loaded but after that I had no problems. Hand loaded 35 gr. V MAX from the Hornet puts coyotes right down, its also great for bobcats. I like the K Hornet.

They mostly wont have to store it very long it generally takes 1 to 1.5 weeks to get your game processed. I would speak with the butcher and see if they can store the meat until your ready to go home.
