Quality of 36B compared to 20+ years ago?
452b264 replied to 105Coues's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
If a unit you want to hunt is close to home and has to many hunts or tags, just learn where the deer are and hunters are not. Where I grew up G&F issued 26,200 buck tags for a unit the size 22 and 23 combined, you were allowed two buck tags over the counter. An old friend and I have taken some very nice mature bucks from this unit, with a couple able to be entered into the record book. Hunt hard and enjoy your hunt. -
There is also 5 slot rail attached to the front of the hand guard for a light or a sling .

I just read several reviews for the range, they dont have targets or target stands at the range you must bring your own. I have heard you can shoot long distance there but you probably need your own steel or targets.

Best Frame Pack For A Backpack Mule deer hunt
452b264 replied to Coues Archer's topic in Mule Deer Hunting
The bottom line is Arizona is hot, and a freighter frame pack breathes the best. If you gave me a top of the line pack from any of those listed above I would still use my old Cabelas freighter frame that I paid 75.00. https://www.amazon.com/ALPS-OutdoorZ-Commander-Pack-Bag/dp/B004R7L7YU -

I watched this a long time ago, if I recall her bow is set at 47 pounds, and she is using a heavy arrow. She gets a complete pass through. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vXcddAAG2UQ -

Ship it out through a UPS hub. I have sent out three center-fire rifles without issue.

If you could get out and shoot a group or three with its favorite load that might help your sale ten fold. The outside looks really nice good luck with your sale.

I have hunted bear in the Mazatzals several times in August we were hiking in about 8 to 11 miles depending on our destination, so we pack light due to the heat. We only take food you can eat without cooking, and no sleeping bag we just lay on a tarp (the ones with a reflective side) and fold the other half over you while wearing a mosquito head net. We have never had any issues with insects.
