Try using only three shot groups for the 6.5 x 55, 45 grains looks decent? In my 300 wby I loaded the barnes as long as the mag box would allow me to. What length did you load them to in the 257?

I have this same bow, its a smooth, quiet and accurate bow. Thats a good price with the extras on it.
