Agreed, no need for a diesel unless your towing heavy trailers constantly. I got rid of my diesels when I got out of hauling hotshot loads, the only big thing I tow around anymore is my 27' Baja speedboat. That thing weighs 4400 empty my trailer 1000 for a total of 5400, again that's empty but with 100 gallons of fuel in it it weighs a little more, my 2010 Ford Expedition tows it like its not even back there.

Hopefully they allow hunters to do the work rather than state sharpshooters.

Agree on the 700

Oh boy! The 6.0L, I'm so sorry. Hopefully yours is better than mine was. I dumped mine after sinking 11k in it and said, enough. I went back to an expedition....best move I ever made.

Do you think this might have been something such as a meteorite?

Wow! That is awesome looking. Yeah I'd go ape over it too. Thanks for posting.

Aww they're just pre-camera hero pics. Pretty cool. I'd love to find something like that too.

Keep it the way it is....good grief.

I was wondering this too. Also I would like to put a badger thruster break on my new 7mm. I don't like the look of breaks that are real bulky on the barrel. I have just the stock barrel( not a bull barrel). Would a gun smith be able to turn it so that it matches the barrel more? Or does it take a bull barrel to do that? Not necessarily. Go to CNC Warrior site and look at all their tools. You can thread a barrel while still attached to action.

570 something for me.

Pics as promised. Here's the pics. One correction I hafta make. They are 3' long sections and are 1/2" pipe So you would need 5 3' sections, you could probably get away with 2' but I think that might be a little short. That gong is a 10"x10" piece of AR 500 And a pic of bullet impact, probably a .223 hit. I remember the chain got hit too once but I think that was by a Barnes in .243....that left a jagged mark.

I had it on my photo album in my iPhone but literally a few weeks ago I erased it. Sorry.

Can't live without it. Always playing with it on my Mark 4's

No, so far we hit it once, kinda glancing but didn't hurt it. Just need to hit it with a grinder to take the sharp edge off, other than that it's still good. I'll try to take some pics for you tomorrow.

I've been using that black threaded gas pipe from Home Depot. I'll have to take a picture of it for ya. I can unthread the whole thing and stick it in my backpack if I want to hike it somewhere out a ways. About 5 4' sections 2 T ends Some end caps Chain and heavy duty bolts/nuts to hold gong. Cost me about $90 But well worth it and if I accidentally shoot a pipe I can replace it quite easily.

My sons birthday is March 6th. 4 years ago when he was 9 I put him in for the draws as he would be 10 at the time of the hunt. He didn't draw a tag but did get a bonus point.

Awesome glass at a great price. My favorite binos that I have.

Yep today's the day 95% of the people put in for the draws then complain when it crashes.
