I am loading 40 grn vmax on top of 38 grns of imr4064 witch is max charge. My question is if u cool it down 2 grains or even 4 how much of a difference that would make? It's just my varmit calling gun so I'm not running box after box through it.

I was just reading up on these bullets in the cabelas shooting catalog and it say " efficient expansion at all practical hunting distances " . Is that practical for the hunter that gets his gun out of the closet week before hunt or for the hunter that develops load and shoots 600+ yards?

I've found instead of yelps just some soft purrs and clucks help. I use the same technique elk hunting and turkey hunting you know everyone and they're mom will be doing the usual basic calls turkey it's just wondering around yelping elk wonder around and generic bugle, just change it up. That's just from my little experience

I was Inot 6b Thurs night to Sunday after noon before mechanical issues and only had one bird roosted sat morning and that was it and I know there were birds around its probably one of best covered turkey sign area I've found in 6b in many moons. Heard more hen talk and saw hens. I just think the 6b turkey are mute deafs!

My older brother gave his 2 cents on the group (and knowing him nothing nice) so the last name was flagged and banned I guess.
