If you hunt unit 28 keep in mind the following corridor is closed to the otc hunt. 28 within the following boundaries is closed to elk hunting: beginning at the San Carlos Reservation boundary and U.S. Hwy 70 east of Bylas; east along U.S. Hwy 70 to East Sanchez Road (in Solomon); north along East Sanchez Road to North Airport Road; west along North Airport Road to the Safford-Bryce-Eden Road; west along the Safford-Bryce-Eden Road through to the North River Road and on to the San Carlos Reservation boundary; and south along the San Carlos Reservation boundary to U.S. Hwy 70.

I couldn't even manage to draw an archery limited opportunity tag....

i don't get it. If you apply by paper how do you know yea or nay right then and there? Maybe i misunderstood your point but you still have to wait to find out like anyone else. Me neither, they cash all checks upfront, then refund if not drawn. Because it saves you a week of being stressed out checking your account 100 times a day waiting for that one pending charge that never shows up. With a check you just wait for the results and you know on the spot.
