I bought a huge trailer and use several 275 gallon totes. There’s an Epcor water depot on desert hills road that you can pull up to and fill up at. For 20 bucks I can fill a cistern. For 90 I can call a truck. I’d rather do it myself.. haul it home and pump the water from the totes into the cistern. Two trips a week.

It is. 2500 gallons.

I went out last night and looked. Took me 3 minutes once we went off road to find a diamondback- about 24 inches. But I want something a bit greener on the new hat..

Just got the ranger fixed. Was going to Fig Springs to test it out. Turns out it’s locked down. Shiny new locks and new signs up. Looks like someone bought it and blockaded the entrances. kinda heartbroken.. loved that spot.

Im thinking he just locked down his property. It's owned by "Fig Springs Ranch LLC" according to the Maricopa County parcel web site. It's bordered by state and forest land. I don't think there's any actual named roads going thru it. It was a great place to explore- lots of deer. One of the only water sources in the area.

Getting an Inreach when I can.. I think it edges out the SPOT

Last August.. coming back from the blind in 21, heading to the truck. Got the wife with me. We're walking on this trail - it's night. There's a mojave in the trail and it's ticked off. We're looking at it, decide to take it out. One shot- with a .45 snake shot did the trick. So I'm looking for a stick to move it out of the way- (Because you never know) and I walk 3 or 4 yards to get this curled branch - And it's another rattler! Quiet through all that commotion! I almost picked up a snake.. trying to move another snake. That night we got 4 just on the way back to the truck. Crazy.
-
One thing to remember guys.. rattlesnakes don't always rattle. Maybe what.. half the time? If you're lucky.. Out of the hundreds I've killed, I think maybe 20 or so I actually heard.

We get them all the time. Out in the bush it's chaps- mandatory. I've seen them when they shouldn't be out. I sweat bullets and more.

It makes sense to do one stop.. but I wont be able to make it. I relinquish my claim on 1 case 😃 I'm sure it'll go quick.

What a beast! Those 7.3's are pure legend. Let's see a pic!

They last for years, they're not that bad nowadays. Perfect for cars and hunt packs.

Maybe we all meet somewhere- that way he can knock this out at once. Just a thought.

So I just bought this one. The guy was questionable.. he told me it used to have glycerin. Looks brand new. Can I haul drinking water in this thing?
-
I gotta know.. was it his??
-
I should note, the inside is clean and smells sweet.. if it *was* glycerin, game on?

I need a new bow. No idea what I’m leaning to, so I’m coming to the experts. i see female hunters take deer at 100 yards (tv shows) and my wife and I look at each other like.. that’s just not possible. I know it is, but maybe not with my current bow. im currently rocking a 10 + year old PSE Thunderbolt. It gets the job done but it’s just ooollld. And a bit too small. Anything past 40 is a chore..I need a 30” draw. What’s the latest and greatest?
