My gaia GPS map looks like .. a billion pins. And I've been to all the locations. Scrutinizing google earth, I see I missed a few trick tanks- and I'm definitely going to hit them next weekend on the 2 day scout I'm budgeting in. I don't know whether to hit the top or the unit or the bottom first, but It's crazy how you can see something on a map that you missed in three seasons and can't wait to get there in person. (I swear those weren't there last year!!) Sometimes scouting can be just as good as a hunt. Well, close.

I'm cursed. I get it. Bought 2 Poulan Pro's last year for the elk hunt. Neither would start. Home depot took them back and told me they had problems. So I bought a Stihl a few days ago, and used it for all of 5 minutes up at Jacob Lake during the doe hunt. It failed after 5 mins and wouldn't start. When I bought it at the dealer, they gave me one, and tried to start it outside. If failed. He said that happens sometimes.. (After 3 people walk by and tell me I bought the best chainsaw in the world) So the dealer gave me this second chainsaw, and had it running for about 5 minutes and explained everything about it. Which was nice. What wasn't nice was it died in the field and I had to use scraps for the wood stove. Before I take it back and demand another one, should I be looking at something else? Maybe a Husky?

Ethan nailed it as usual. Three and a half hours hunting- I think that's a record for him. Anyone have the address to check the tag for CWD online with F&G? Also, whoever was using an RV on 462 and left your leveling jack, it's still there..

I have the same hunt. its going to be cold- and dependent on snow. Biggest tip I can give you because you’re going to be high glassing: dress for the artic wind.

I just got a new one from the dealer. It’s a 5211c. He said there were some bolts loose? He offered me a new one and swore it was working right. I brought a few logs back from the doe hunt to try it out. I’m hoping this does the trick!

Spent 9 days in the field. Other than the kid getting a doe, I found this. I can only hazard a guess.. and it's in the absolute middle of nowhere. Any takers?

Ok. Here goes. I have a decent 5 x 8 Trailer that my Ranger *will not* fit on - by like 2 inches. Everything works, it's just not quite big enough. I will mention it doesn't have a jack stand. Tires are in awesome shape. Has a ramp in the back. I'm looking to upgrade to a 5.5 or 6 foot wide x 10 trailer in decent condition. Maybe you don't need a 6 foot and would get by on a 5 foot trailer - I'll trade ya and throw in $200 cash. Let me know what you think!

Also- I'd take $750 for it.

Thanks guys, I should clarify- it's not wide enough. I'm missing by two or three inches. Love the back in idea though..
