A used 4S goes for 100 now a days. (In good condition). I think my kid is selling his 4S Verizion Iphone.. I can check?

Liquid mineral works pretty well. And this year I might try a plot watcher- climb a tree and angle it down. Less chance of it getting stolen.

I probably can't afford it, but do you have any pricing or pictures? That might help expedite things..

If you have ever driven a 6.0 with a tuner and straight pipe that is running like it should you would be hooked for life. I think that really says it all..

Im going to be doing some scouting this year, and I still need a Polaris Crew- but! http://gosondors.com/ Some solo scouting, quietly, on dirt roads with a 20-30 miles charge doesn't suck. I was kicking around the idea of picking up one of these. Maybe even with a little tow trailer. They're supposed to be super quiet and can do mountain trails. Just a thought.

If it's running great, and sounds great, that's a bonus. A sick diesel is obvious. Definitely get it checked out for a once over. If you're up north in phoenix, I'd take it to Strictly Diesel. Down south, try One stop truck shop by the Sky Harbor airport.. More MPG, that's a tuner. But you really wanna make sure the headbolts are done before you do any serious street tunes. Once it gets a clean bill of health, try to get a SCT X4 tuner, and maybe contact one of the specialty tuner shops like Innovative Diesel on their website and they custom do custom tunes dependent on what you've done to your truck. I hear a lot of folks getting 18mpg+ on their street tunes. I bought my 04 with 70k miles. I put about 1200 in for pulleys and belts so far. Everything else was fine. The dealer added a BP EGR..I'll be getting the headbolts done before I do any serious towing with it. Probably in Feb next year. (It's a 4k job. And while the engine is apart you want to do any work that needs to be done at that point.)... HPOP, Oil Cooler, any leaks, injectors..etc.. The 6.0 is a fantastic machine once a few upgrades are done. But like so many have said prior, it's all about maintenance. Don't put that off. Change all the filters right off the bat and use only Motorcraft filters. And an oil change (Probably 15w-40 Rotella or 5w40- T6). Oh, and once you fill the tank, every tank, use some Diesel Kleen to baby the injectors. Cheap insurance. I have a 2004 F250. Love it! Yeah, it needs to be bulletproof. Here's a quick list of things that should be done. First- get rid of the green crap coolant that Ford put in there. Change to a ELC Red instead. (Rotella) (Flush it out- don't just drain it) Nothing but Ford filters in the entire truck. Dont use aftermarket. Get a scangauge- check the delta between oil and coolant. Shouldn't be more than 15 degrees. And last but not least, the headgaskets. It's quite a job- they replace the Ford Bolts with ARP Studs. You can tell what kind of bolts are currently in there now just by looking. And.. I just saw the link above. Nice. Also, if you hit up thedieselstop.com , everything you need to know is there.

Great story Don- I had a similar adventure in 18B - called in a herd of 12+ using the J13 call. That thing is amazing. For a second, staring at the lead pig foaming and chomping at the bit looking for something to bite at 10 yards away, made me think I might've went too far..

There's a few videos on Youtube. I'd do a search- see if you like it. It's a solid plan. And you go at your own pace. The wife and I swear by it.
