Need a break. Anyone know of a cabin up north (hotel/whatever) on a creek with fish that has wifi? And.. must have fish. Or at least the opportunity to try. Or a rumor that there is indeed fish in the water. .. with a BBQ.

So- I've got about 20 lbs to lose. At 6'5" 240- Wanna get back to 220. All I'm going for is health and functionality. Started working out with the plate carrier (Fathers Day), and pushups are a different animal. Bought a rower, and love that. It's too hot to walk around during the day- Wife and I will try to get out during the night and do our circuit in the desert. Might have to wear chaps- I'm kinda paranoid. (And with good reason) With three Elk hunts for the family and possibly some rifle deer tags down the line (But if not certainly archery deer) I need to be 100% able to carry packs up mountains. I guess this is my baseline post!

I guess I'll just stay inside until October? Closures to be Implemented on State Trust Land Friday | Prescott eNews Due to extremely high fire danger, exceptional drought conditions, resource availability, and increased fire activity, the Department of Forestry and Fire Management and the Arizona State Land Department will implement closures to State Trust Land throughout Arizona. These closures are also in conjunction with our USFS partners. As of 8am on June 25, 2021, closures will be implemented on state-owned and managed lands in all 15 counties. All state-owned and managed lands are closed to entry for recreational purposes, including hunting, camping, and off-road vehicle use. Target shooting and fireworks are prohibited year-round.

Yeah.. robbed by the Federales on the road on the way back from Rocky Point. Wasn't personal. They robbed everyone. But I'm 1776% sure I'm not going to get robbed in Mexico again. And it sucked- Loved the people. Was a long time ago, but it sticks with ya.
