Heh 35 pound 3 year old your lucky. Mine is 43inches tall and almost 50 lbs. I'm waiting till she is 4 then she will be my scouting partner. Definitely good times

Depends what you want to do. Cheap cameras usually take pics slow. So if game is walking by it might just get their butt. I have a moultrie a5 here is a pic from it

Subjective answer to a subjective question. IMO, it varies between species, geographic region/elevation, and unknown weather patterns. I'd bet the rut has slowly started and will peak sometime between Dec 15 and Jan 15. No reason it will be any earlier or later than average.
I like those dates because I have a 3 day weekend and a week vacation in that time frame

Theirs actually no water in this spot. It may have just rained. It'd a salt site I put on a game trail about 2 miles from a water source.
