Be careful driving it on ANY paved roads as the tires say "Not for highway use" unless you get street tires. They will get you for that.

Show me a pic of a 300" bull you took out of Colorado if there's so many big bulls in there. I don't know what your problem is. I never said I killed a 300+ bull there. I have hunted Colorado for many years for mule deer and I have seen numerous bulls 300 or better. You telling someone to soot the first bull they see is ridiculous. Why do you think you have the right to tell someone how to hunt. That statement shows your immaturity and lack of knowledge of Colorado. "Sometimes it's better to be quiet and thought a fool...than open your mouth and remove all doubt". This post wasn't for you to dictate how someone should hunt. It was to help someone get the right muzzle loader to hunt with.

Went out this morning and started the first tests on my new Viper...WOW...what a scope!!!! Super impressed. Think I found two loads that work the best as well. This is just a start and I hope to get it even tighter. Thanks to all who helped with your comments promoting Vortex.

One thing I enjoy about the summers in Phoenix. I get to cook all my dinners on the sidewalk. It saves me soooooooooo much money in electric bills I can run my A/C for ten minutes extra. Hate this valley!!!!!!!

Don't own a muzzle loader but I did want to say about the comment on shooting the first bull you see. I have hunted Colo. since 85 and thats total bull crap about not having good bulls there. Glass and be patient. There are some great elk there it just takes time and finding them. Good luck.

I have a tried and true 3x9 Redfield accutrac with built in range finder and BDC turrets. This is NOT the Accurange. This scope was mounted on my 300 mag Browning A-bolt since 1986. I have shot 3 elk and 4 deer with it at yards from 200 to 450. It is in great shape with just a few marks. Glass is still clear and bright. I took this out 1 month ago and it still holds zero perfect from 200 yrds to 600 yrds using the Accu-trac system. I have the 4 interchangeable turrets A, B, C, D, that work for a variety of different rifles and bullet combinations. See the link below to see how to use it.
