Bought a 270 wsm 3 years ago and this is my go to rifle for anything so far. Hard hitting and flat shooting and a woman could handle this with no problem. Haven't killed an elk with it yet but plan on it this fall with a unit 10 bull tag. I will however take my 300 win mag as back up. IMHO

I only was there for 2 days and we saw multiple 350s and we passed and never saw a bull big enough for what the hunter wanted, on a later hunt Pat took out a hunter, I believe it was the November muzzleloader hunt, and they killed a 330 at 500 yards with the muzzleloader. In a minute I can put up a pic of 2 bulls killed in 10 from diamond. 500 yards with a muzzy??? thats unreal...heck of a gun to do that I think.

I'm not looking for a huge B&C record bull. AZ native with only 4 elk tags in 45 years, Just want a nice 330 to 350 bull to put on the wall then I will probably put in for cow mostly. Love the meat. I had the fever for mulies bad for years until I got my big 6x6. I then started hunting white tail until I got one that was a trophy to me. Just want a nice respectable bull before I die. Hope this is the year in Unit 10. Good luck to you all and if you want to show me a nice 330-350 bull that you are gonna pass up...I WILL TAKE IT!!!

Wonder if anyone has this same problem. I called yesterday and I heard the recording say....Not drawn for Antelope.... Then It says I was drawn for ELK...unit 3021.... That should be unit 10 late bull rifle. Then going online into the AZGFD portal and it says I was not drawn for ANYTHING for midwinter draw, Elk or Antelope... Many mixed emotions right now. It shows my BP in elk as being taken tho and Ant having 1 more BP. Anyone else have this happen????

Just FYI...all cats are Ferrel. That's why there is NO license requirements for them. The way I see it is...if you own a cat..little fluffy or whatever it's name is,, it's your responsibility to take care of that cat before it gets out and becomes ferrel. Spay, neuter, keep it from Clawing up someones seats in their new boat, spraying in someones truck so you NEVER get the smell out. etc..etc. I don't have to worry about them as I have 2 big dogs that love cats. They think they taste good I guess. It would bother me though if I knew little 7 year old Cindy or whomever lost her cat to my dogs because the owner didn't take proper precautions to make sure they weren't harmed. IMHO
