They don’t need to replace revenue in the normal sense. Auction tag money only went to projects on the ground, not salaries. So there will just be less projects on the ground.
-
A person can only put one entry in for each hunt so if you’re saying a rich guy will buy 1000 tickets that’s not possible on this draw

2023-24 archery deer tracking
Northern Pintail replied to PineCountryHunter's topic in Mule Deer Hunting
The issue is with apple. Not gf. Get rid of the terrible iPhone -
The ohv permit is also another way people can access state lands. You can’t do anything else on state lands other than drive the roads with an ohv permit but it is allowed
-
Not sure what’s bullshit about this? 3a was otc in 2023.
-
The problem with going that far west is you really get out of the good bird hunting country. Specifically ducks
-
It’s not the game and fish’s fault. It’s just more people hunting and making draw odds worse.

Wyoming is the only state I know of that over allocates tags. In Wyoming they would give out 4 tags if there were only one tag left.

Purple stripes on trees - No Trespassing
Northern Pintail replied to Boarman03's topic in The Campfire
Az isn’t purple. It’s orange. But some states do allow the purple. -
It’s in the regs online. Not sure how you don’t see it.
-
What you talking about? It’s in the regs
-
I asked and it is something about their fiscal year/accounting purposes.

Lots of states private doesn’t need to be posted to be posted so before you go to another state you better look that law up -
Colorado Regulations and Rules
Northern Pintail replied to Non-Typical Solutions's topic in The Campfire
The only thing that would carry over is if you got your license revoked. Having a license taken away in Colorado would result in losing your privileges in like 48 other states and providences. -
It’s because they want to limit the amount of harvest in those units, thus a limited amount of time. Can you imagine if you could archery deer hunt 12a or 12b or the 13s not only in august but December and January. Tags would be cut to reduce the harvest.

3a does have forest in it. It’s in the south west corner.
-
The otc hunt wasn’t on forest. There are some elk still on state and primarily on private but they are there
-
Are you sure the gates are open? Spoke with FS this week and they were thinking it would be May before they are open
-
Some where over there they are doing a huge juniper clearing. I can’t find it on their website but a million acres rings a bell. Can’t imagine gf would spend hunter dollars without having an access agreement. But ya never know.

Federal law changed. Kind of sucks. Ran into the issue with other states on things I was trying to buy

Thoughts?

I think the management plan is for 350 for three straight years. -
Nm regs have been out for a couple weeks. The draw is even open
