Very few cool cats out there. I grew up with a chilled cat, watched her hunt birds, scared off a german shepherd out of the back yard, and watched her beat the crap out of a couple of white fluffy cats. Other than that I really don't care for cats, I would take a dog if I had land, but hate the smell of them (short hairs for me). I just prefer no pets!

Its funny the easy common since of hunting is always the best advise. We try so many things to get good at and look over the basic hunting skill. Then when someone repeats the basics it sounds like really wise wisdom. This is good advise

Last year I was with the family up by big lake for the Labor day weekend. Lots of hunters for archery deer trailers were left at campgrounds. You know the look like someone just parked it there set up one table, no chairs equipment, looks like no one has been there for a week kind of Look! While driving by with the kids on the Rhino I was saying to myself "man that looks so obvious". If I was a thief I would go there that night and ransack the trailer. Its that easy for those scum bags! Thieves are lower then dirt! They don't think. Their first impression that comes to their mind is "hey look no one is around lets take their stuff". How do you get to that point? If its not yours its okay to take? Lower then DIRT SCUM BAGs!! ok ok im done writing Im getting so mad thinking about this

Wishing for a rifle is always the case for us bi-hunters rifle/archers. I put on more stalks and see more animals while bow hunting. There is a trade off though! You see frustration like what you are going through wishing you had a rifle. Funny thing is during the rifle hunts you don't see that many deer as you do while archery, there are lot more hunters, and the deer run skiddish. If i had a rifle I would of had a 190"-200" buck, but I had a bow and I still got within 40 yards but I couldn't get a shot off. But still I can say I put a stalk on a 190" buck (desert Buck) got 40 yards to it, and Ive never seen a deer that size while using a rifle, nor a 100" couse with a rifle yet. When I bow hunt I just think bow hunting and enjoy the hunt of seeing so many animal and getting close. When I rifle hunt I think rifle!! I then enjoy the 400 yard shots!
