I've only met 1 woman who goes out and takes the bull by the horns! I don't even know her name. I think it was at a Home Depo and she had a Browning symbol tattoo on her arm, maybe forearm. But she goes out with a group and I think she says it was women in this group and they are hard core. She talked about how she hunted from the beginning of the hunt to the end of the hunt in 24B and got tag soup. She expressed herself as being pissed off she worked that hard because she usually gets a deer. The way she talked about hunting I think she was lot more hard core then me and many other guys on the Forum. Plus there is another girl that works at Sportsman in Mesa and she has dreadlocks (she still looks like all girl) and she looks like she takes the outdoors or hunting pretty serious. Other than that most of the women I know just tag along. I took my wife on a archery hunt with me and that was the last!!!!!! But my 7 year daughter is showing alot of intrest and in her own words " I want to shoot a coyote in the stomach" why the stomach i don't know

Does anybody have a way to find out a property owners information? I need to make a call to see if they will let me on. Or maybe someone has a HUNT xMap App and i can PM you the coordinates. I don't ever ask for permission because I never hunt on private property. But this spot has caught my eye

I've read the 3rd party shoot out diesels for the past 4 years and Ford has been number one every time. Before they made the 2017 dodge did state they offer more pulling power which it did. But up hill pulls, 1/4 mile drags Ford 1 and Chevy 2 out beat it. The last thing i read was that dodge did get # 1 on down hill breaking. Chevy did get # 1 on that 9-12 mile hill in Colorado that goes up to 12,000 ft by a truck length on the Ford. And of course dodge in third.

What a sweet spot

You will see deer. The reason why all these southern units have left overs are from the ideas that they have border patrol problems. I've never had a problems but border patrol is present.

I'm to A-D-D!!!! Desert I try to place my self were the bucks are pushing the does in front of me (rut). Thick stuff or pines, I still hunt, and open areas I glass. Doesn't mean I'll try sitting water. I just can't sit there all day. After a while I tell myself " I'm sure there is a deer over that hill"

I would be in unit 1 but everyone can't make it this year. So I'll go dink around in 7e. Haven't been there and try something new.

Once you go tripod you won't go back. You can look through it for 20 min with no problem. No tired arms or aches. And if you are trying to pick a part something there's no rattle. But your from flagstaff and you might always be hunting in the pines so I see your point.

I have the tall tripods, I can stand longer than trying to find that perfect spot in the chair. I find my self slouching in chairs or sitting. Back starts hurting. If I'm by the truck I'll use chairs from time to time

I got tikka .270, nosler brass, 140 grain accurbond a, vortex scope, shooing right at 3,000 fps, sub MOA. Last year hit my couse right exactly at 400 yards one shot drop. I have center plate 750 yards, but most .270 BC is around in the .500 while heavy 30 cal and light 6.5 you can get in the .600 BC. After this hunting season I'm rebuilding my .270 to a 6.5-.270 AI. I want the 6.5 BC and a couple hundred fps faster. When shooting out to 700 yards its a bit finicky. I heard of a lot of guys shoot with lot more ease with the 6.5. If you are planning on only shooting out to 500 yard max then the .270 will get the job done without a problem. I personally would just keep my .270 the same but all these no good CWT guys are making me depress with their new gun builds! . I blame you CWT
