i'm chartering a custom build for a 7mm rem mag. should be ready in 2-3 months. my goals with the rifle is to become my all around hunting rig, but i also want to become proficient out to 1000 yards. with that said, it's clear i'm going to have to reload to get that level of performance. can you guys give me a list of some must have items to get my reloading setup going? sounds like a few guys recommend the rcbs press. i see they sell a "kit" for 350 or so...i'm hesitant to buy the kit if certain parts of it suck (scale, powder measurer, etc etc). so if you guys can share your best known methods with respect to what works the best, is repeatable, quality, etc i'd appreciate it.

like the title says... tell me about your custom rifle build, what parts did you use, what did you customize, who built it for you, etc.

where does everyone recommend i go to buy parts for a future custom build? i'm a lefty so in particular i want to make sure there is a good selection of LH actions. Thanks Miles

When you buy a new barrel from Brux does it come chambered and ready to screw into an action or do you need to take it to a gunsmith for chambering?

I have a 450 king quad 4x4 and its plenty. When you are dragging an elk to the road having 4x4 and a low gear is where it's at imo

thanks for the info. I've spoken with the guys at phoenix custom and i was thinking about "procuring" (buying for you rednecks on the forum) the parts and have them put it together for me. i'm definitely interested in how you guys built your custom rigs....i'll start a new thread on that one!

Hardly used left handed Hoyt Ultramag bow. Comes with sights, whisker biscuit, 5 Easton A/C/C arrows all in great condition and rigged up with 100g Thunderhead broadheads. Weight is 60-70 lbs (set at 65) with a draw length at 26-28.5" Pretty much ready to go hunting with. Not abused whatsoever. $450 obo. Miles
