I put anti seize on mine. Unless you're running full auto or doing a bunch of mag dumps, the type you use doesn't matter. I typically use Molykote G-n since it's what i use for installing barrels too. I tighten the adapter on with a dowel through it. I use a strap wrench on the can It doesn't come loose unless i want it to. The cheapest stuff you can get is fine.

If i somehow decide i need to shoot me than 200-250 yards, I'll trade my buddy for the 340 that he'll be carrying which will have a proper long range scope

Maybe it's better

The: drain valve was really rusty too.i need to find something more permanent

Harvest sent my wife a new hose and drain valve. This didn't fix it. I had to tear it apart and reseal the fitting into the chamber. I was very disappointed with their very lacking instructions. I'm glad the parts came before i left for work for the year. My wife could not have fixed it alone. The parts took over 2 weeks to arrive from Utah; wagon trains are alive and well. I sealed the potted fitting with the wires and sealed the fitting with RTV as well. We are back down to < 400 milli torres. Hopefully it holds out

So far, shoots everything right at 1MOA. I have a 1:10 twist barrel. It's hard to shoot little groups with a 4X scope. It might do better with the other scope on it.

I put a different scope on it. I wanted lower zoom and illuminated reticle for my bear hunt. It has recoil but it doesn't bother me. I hold the forend even of the bench.

Which shroud?

My freeze dryer is down. Won't pull enough vacuum. I'm waiting on parts, company is not very responsive. Hoping it's just a leaky vacuum hose.

Got it pretty much done. I'll Cerakote it Wednesday. Shot it Saturday. I've only shot 286 Hornady spire points. I'll use Partitions on my hunt. I'm waiting on rings for my Trijicon Credo 1-4. 8 ¼ lbs without sights.

I shot a fox on Kodiak with my 340 Wby. I was hoping for a good result. It was very nasty. 225 TSX. -
Red fox might be the 2nd fastest

Been all over it. My AZ trail hiking these days is done in the saddle

I've encountered more than 20. I've handled many of them. You have to be real dumb to actually get bit. They're not fast or agile but they are nasty tempered most of the time.

I use Stewart Tire at Broadway/ Alma school. It's pretty much all they do. Been there 50 years
