If I had to pick one it would FHF gear. I buy the size larger than suggested so I can run my binos with one hand during a stalk. The FHF ones are like a more trim version of the AGC. The FHF straps are much better if hot out. Both are very good quality and honestly owning both would fit all situations. The biggest advantage to AGC is they block dust a little better. If you walk a lot when it is hot out get the FHF gear for sure. If you ride quads a lot get AGC.

Well what do you guys think about the online draw? Never have the time to go to the meetings and they never send out surveys about this topic. It has gone really bad for me the last couple draw cycles. So many errors and phone calls. Hope this poll is helpful. Maybe it can be shown to the commission.

By the way all 4 elk skulls were from kills in AZ

Even though deer are vegetarians they will eat skulls for minerals. I have multiple videos of a mule deer doe this summer eating elk skulls. She ended up eating a total of 4 cow elk skulls in about a month. The 10+ people that have seen the videos were amazed. I understand some of the AZGFD concerns because of this, but I think they went about this seriously wrong. I am a diy type person and will now be packing a ton of extra gear to process my animals while on out of state hunts. Doing europeans mounts in the bush and wasting an extra day will now be common place for me.

Hey those Swarovski 18x56s were deemed too powerful for fair chase. They capped them at 15x to prevent 100% success rates. Sorry could not resist

They are awesome and can handle just about anything. Had to wait on some Max 1 camo ones I ordered and they updated me often via email and phone calls. See if you can have someone give you a hand though since they fit really snug.

Walk a lot and determine their favorite water sources, feilds, and roast trees. Then draw out their paths on a map. Generally with this method you can find them within a couple days. The trick is to get within range and not have multiple birds in the way. Was easier in the 22 mag days.

Not sure about all the areas but the spots I tried one year had a crazy number of hunters. Was running into hunters every hour. Word gets out fast when elk tracks are spotted in these areas.

The Tru-Fire I had was terrible from day one and broke before I wore out a string. Scott makes a great product and wore out a few strings with one. I have had my best accuracy with T.R.U. BALL and now have 3 of them (1 handle style and 2 wrist). They have awesome customer service and can get you any size wrist strap if you need one. Might have to try a Spot Hogg just for fun.

Swarovski STX is awesome. Almost bought a Kowa then looked through one of these at outdoorsman.

I cannot see Leupold red at all in the summer. The Leica "orange" works great for me. My old nikon also worked but was black. Swarvoski red is tough at times.
