dang, really need some H1000 but will be out in the woods all weekend.... Wish they did online pickup orders.

I just recently bought a mystery ranch. I had a kuiu pack before that. As much as I liked my kuiu, am glad I made the switch. It fits me better and fills like it distributes the weight better. I do like the organization of the kuiu better. The mystery ranch (metcalf) doesn't have many pockets. If I were to buy another one I would try the Exo pack. Heard lots of great things about them. But for the price I got my pack, I couldn't pass it up.

Looking for any help for some minimum and maximum for RL 26 for a 7 SAUM. Using 162 grain eldx bullet. I found some starting points for the H1000. Not much for the 26 though. Using the adg brass.

Chalk another one up from not seeing colors well. I can see the animals, but blood trails that are small are a waste of my time. Glad I haven't needed to much help due to seeing many fall. Wish G&F would allow dogs to help track for us that have a hard time seeing red. They allow cross bows and other opportunities to the disabled.

I just bought 350 rounds the last couple weekends at sportsman's. Just have to be around when they stock it, which I was. We already went through half of it. Wife bought her first handgun and we are working on shooting it now. Hopefully we can find more at some point!

Meopta are the easy choice over the swaro non hd imo. Most people probably haven't even looked through Meopta binos and are just going off the Swarovski name. Don't get me wrong, their glass is top notch. But if you aren't buying the HD, Meopta beats the SLC in every way.

He is saying to have them for the replacement blade knives. Just another thing to worry about. Fixed blade and a sharpener is all I need.

I am not a fan of replacement blades. Extra things to worry about. Replacing blades, putting used blades somewhere safe, having to handle spare blades in the middle of the woods. I prefer a a fixed blade that holds a great edge. Like the handle to have some texture so if it gets a little messy, it's not trying to slide out of my hand.

So if you and I go buy a box every weekend, and you take your kid shooting while I put mine in a safe, I'm the horder? Not everyone can just go drop 5-600 on ammo at a time. Some go buy a small amount every check or when they have extra cash. That has nothing to do with hording, it's being smart knowing it's going to dry up again soon. And for some, it's their passion. There are people shooting near my home all the time. They have to stock up to keep their addiction satisfied. Some people learn from past experiences and some always complain about the same dam thing every time it happens.

And this is why I agree with a part of his #3. If the one with the most points turns their tag in, everyone does. Not fair that one's points go from 2 point to 8 and they get to hunt better units while the other saves their points if the margin is that wide.

My daughter and a friends daughter drew a youth 33 tag. Super excited even though it's on fire right now! We have never been to the unit but pumped to see new country. Was wondering about the road conditions? Are they overall in good shape? We are trying to decide between a trailer and tent. Just not sure what is the better option.
