I just bought my boy a ruger american in 6.5 Creedmoor, I Got it in the predator model and the barrel comes threaded and takes most ar10 muzzle brakes. I put the dpms brake on it and he shot a box of 20 and didn't complain once. He is a small and 10 years old , he just killed his first buck with it Saturday.

Thanks for everyone's input and advice I ended up going water less and used water bottles for the toilet, mainly because I forgot to charge the batteries and I found out the ignitor for my heater would not work on my elk hunt so I used the Buddy Heater. It was nice to pull the trailer dry with no water and nice to have that a shelter and 21 degree weather. Home now and tagged out on fay two , will add a story later.

I'm heading up to Kaibab on the jr doe hunt for my boys first hunt on Thursday . I have debated on dragging the trailer up for the last week. Has anyone had there water lines freeze? I have never had it in freezing weather yet in the low 20's like the weather is predicting. Do you think this will be an issue or do you have any remedies or advice? Also will the mule deer foundation camp be there for this late hunt ? Thanks

Yes the bottom does have a thin black clothe cover like the fabric on the bottom of couches and box springs, i didn't think it would do much or help much. But maybe it's enough to help. Thanks
