I shot an elk a few years ago doing this. It rained hard for 3 days and as soon as it let up, the elk were out feeding. I filled my tag and watched the elk run off while my friend listened to the shots from camp because he didn't want to get wet. He also didn't fill his tag.

Just be careful on this if you hunt other states. I believe barbed broadheads are illegal in some areas.

How does that SWFA glass compare to the others listed? I've never looked through one but they always seem to come up in the best scope under $1000 category and haven't heard anything bad about them yet.

Could you warranty the binos for the scratches? I have a pair and love mine

Is the Tango 6 line more for bench rest or hunting? Dual purpose?

I think these are on sale right now in selected sizes for $39. I've never worn them but heard good things.

Last year I had my first archery bull tag, congrats. I shot my bull wearing Coscto pants. I don't remember the exact name of them (UB Tech comfort pant??) and don't see them on their website right now but I paid $20 for them. I don't see how there could be something better than that for the price. Are there better, more comfortable, durable and camo? Yes to all. But for the price, it's hard to beat.

I shot my bull first light last year in the archery hunt, watched him die and started gutting and skinning him out right away in the field. Got back to our cabin and deboned him, it was about 5 pm and I was surprised how warm that meat was still next to the bone. They can turn quick.
