    6x6 330ish Bull Elk Mount

Kinda just curious… do ppl buy these to mount in their business or something like that? I would feel weird putting an animal on the wall a family member or I didnt shoot great looking elk either way. Hopefully I’ll get the chance at some point to be looking at a bull like that with a tag in my pocket

I ended up with the Larue MBT. Couldnt beat the price and everytime I called they had great customer service. Havent gotten to dry fire it, still need to put together the rest of the gun

    Hunting ar triggers??

I was wondering if the two stage timney would be decent, either the calvin elite (ugly trigger but adjustable, or the targa. I think I like two stage triggers over single.

    Hunting ar triggers??

I might actually take you up on that. I was looking at that one, how do they compare to others?

    Hunting ar triggers??

I have a hard time imagine how the two stages feel together, 3-4lb sounds heavy for a single stage, I had a 3 lb timney single stage on the last gun and it felt super high to me. Do you really only notice the second stage on the ssa e ?

    4 and a Twofer

Man we got out sunday morning and did a lot of stands. 1 fox and 1 coyote is all we could bring in. Not sure if it was an over called area, the sounds we were using or what.

How much are you wanting for the die set? Is that sizing, expander die, and seating?

    Cat Calling

Anybody been successful calling cats with distress calls? Wondering if there is a better time of day to be out calling or not? Ive found a spot with a cat in it and would like to go do a long stand there.

    Cat Calling

Im not exactly sure where it’ll be bedded during the day. Do they normally bed up high or down low? basically all I know is its in there somewhere.

    Cat Calling

How long of calling sequences did you do for bird/rodent? Continuous until you switch calls or in x min bursts? Ive done plenty of coyote calling and I do short sequences 2min per call 5-6 different sounds then move. Im planning to call for about an hour starting with bird moving to cottontail, maybe jack, then fawn, after fawn probably some cougar sounds or bobcat.
