I Sold my quad, and no longer need this. Holds quad in truck bed utilizing the hitch so you don't need straps and won't have a blown out rear window on your truck. This holds tight even on rough forest roads without worry of a strap coming loose.. The top picture was my quad in my truck with the setup. My guess is probably with the tailgate down? I'm not positive though. I have a short bed Chevy and it was about a inch to long for my tailgate to close so I bought a LA guard dog truck hitch setup and left my tailgate down. I would throw in ramps and the guard dog hitch for another $125. The guard dog hitch holder works awesome. Even on rough forest roads
