    Shotgun Opinions

Big fan of Beretta. Specifically the A300. I reach for it more than the rest of my lineup which includes a Citori Trap, Onyx 20g, Browning B2000, Mossberg 930. Seems to swing great, light, low recoil, and eats any ammo I use. Zero issues. Pair it with a light modified extended choke and it will reach out and touch those birds. I would imagine the A400 is even better.

Verizon wireless home internet??? Tired of Cox.

Those who have Verizon and are concerned on pricing, while also having an internet provider such as Cox cable....you may want to cancel Cox internet and switch to Verizon home 5G. I did that and it's bundled in with my cell phone bill. Cox was at $110 a month, Verizon internet now down to $35 a month, no contracts, no data limits, and 3 year price guarantee. So far so good, I work from home in the software biz and the internet connection quality is faster and more reliable than it was with Cox cable. Not trying to pimp out Verizon internet, but it's a good way to cut costs if you are concerned with their cell phone prices. And yes, I whole heartedly agree with rural coverage. Verizon gets better coverage in remote areas than T-Mobile or AT&T..

    Go Vote

Pretty eye opening if you ask me....FL has 3x the population of AZ and results were tabulated in a timely fashion.

    ISO Colman Camp Oven

I know this isn't a Coleman, but I see Amazon has a Camp Chef at a deep discount. https://a.co/d/fDAlMO9 If this is something that is feasible, I'm willing to pitch in some funds to help out.

    Cormorant Hunting

Wow. This is fantastic. I've seen those birds eat stocker trout at TTL like they were candy. Shoot them all. Can't imagine what effect they have on the already decimated bass population at Saggy, Canyon, and Apache.

    Early Hunt Reports????

Good work! Great to see the little ones on successful hunts. Nothing yet for me up in 20A. Hunted mainly the south end (Hooper and Towers) and all does so far, no bucks. Headed over SW of Mayer on Friday. If anyone has any tips, I'm all ears and can trade spot info on turkeys in that area or spots in 5A for upcoming elk hunts. 😉

    Scumbags

Mike Orozco still around? He had a good run before BLBBD at Plez.
  10. Pic of the most recent speed test (mind you my Verizon Internet Gateway is plugged into a USB-C docking station, then my PC is plugged into that). You'll probably need to check your area, as it's pulling internet access from a 5G tower near my place in Dobson Ranch. If it were me, I'd ditch the Cox email address and run a free Gmail address. Or if you need the space, pay an extra $1 a month for more memory.

    Right direction

Hang out near the ASNF boundary. See elk. Shoot elk. Just make sure it's on the right side of the fence.

    Any Good Bucks?

Heading up to the Bradshaws on Friday thru the weekend to scout a few spots. Never hunted up there, so we'll see how it goes. Probably will be a zoo....

    ISO Shotgun Gunsmith

Years ago, I had Wright Armory thread the barrel on my Browning B2000 for chokes. Did a great job and turnaround time was pretty quick. May also want to check with Axis Works. They just put on a brake for my Tikka t3 stainless. In and out of the shop the same week.
  15. Stopped by Axis Works today. Dropped off my Tikka for a 4 port timed brake. Sara was great, super helpful and said 3 week lead time. I guess it's getting busy.

    Bug spray recommendations

Picaridin seems to be the most scent free I've been able to find. Sawyer makes a spray and a lotion.

    No Longer Needed

Like the actual box it came in? If so, I have one for an American Ranch 7.62 and if it fits what you're looking for...you can have it. Keep in mind the American Ranch is a shorter barrel.
  18. Heading out east after work to see what's flying around at about 5-6 PM. Figured I'll sweat it out for a bit.

Phoenix Tree Removal - 480-232-0633 and ask for Lance Goldsmith. He's done several big jobs for me in the past. Most of them required climbing.
