    Sonic

I havent been there in years, but they used to have a supersonic jalapeno cheeseburger that was pretty awesome. I was pretty torqued when they quit serving it. Our relationship never recovered.

    Elk Draw Readiness Checklist

Create back-up plan, code name 'deer skewer' (also may be referred to as deer-ka-bob): check! Already made arrangements to go back to Nebraska for whitetails. My buddies car just got jacked up by a deer jumping up on his hood in front of them, so now it's a revenge mission.

    Found Old Plane Crash

I know where there's one out around the superstition. My buddy that I hiked to it with did some research and turned up that it was an old airforce training plane. I don't recall if the pilot made it out or not though.

    Officer down....

Dang shame. I think they should turn the animal lose and let the other cops have him.

    Hunter education

+1 My son and I took the online course in November 2016 and the did field day in January 2017. Everything you need is in the online course. And before you take the test on field day, the instructors will go over everything you need to pass the test. Don't over think it. Read the material, understand what you're reading and have fun with it. +2 My daughter also did online course. It is a very good program, and they're not out to bust anyone's chops. If he goes through all the class work he'll be well prepared for field day. I did the field day with two of my kids so far. It is a good fun experience.

  16. I've got a couple odd jobs I need to get taken care of around my place that I just dont have time to do myself. First up I need someone who's pretty mechanically strong to do two jobs for me. 1. I have a little 4x7 utility trailer that has the studs all jacked up on one side after the lugnuts came loose going down the freeway. Need to pull off the hub and replace the studs. 2. Ive got an 80 gallon vertical compressor thats in need of being torn down and rebuilt. I just put in a new screw compressor, so this is not super urgent, but I want the old pumper squared away to keep as a back up. Next I'm looking for anyone with a strong back that'll dig out some planters for me and move some gravel around. This is the most urgent project I have, as spring is already here and I have over a hundred seedlings that need to go into the ground. Im more than willing to pay a fair wage for good work. Im on the west side of town out in Avondale. Matt (602) 908-2931

Looking for some help with some odd jobs

Edge: I appreciate that, but all I'm really looking to do is clear out some gravel in the corners of the yard and redistribute it elsewhere. My yard is mostly grass, but there's a 3 ft. perimeter of gravel around it and I want to clear out the corners and dig them down a bit to mix with so fertilizer and compost to make some planting beds. Reezenhuter, next weekend would be great. Thanks, PM sent.

    Bear Mountain

Bought a brand new bow from them a few years back and had a pretty positive experience with the customer service and they beat archery hq by almost $100 on the price. Later when I sold the bow and took the sights off it I found that the guy who put it together had used screws that were too short and barely engaged the riser through the sight. When i took the screws out the top two threads of the aluminum came with them. Boogered them up to where they wouldnt take another scre so i had to retap the hole from the backside and sold it with long screws i stalled in the riser so the next guy wouldnt have any trouble with it. In short, I had great service that was buggered by mechanical incompetence.

Sounds like a pretty sweet gig for someone with kids that are college age or close to it. Sure beats paying student loans for 10 years! Good luck on your hiring.
