You act like you are the self appointed boss of Coues Whitetail. Get over yourself, enjoy a little bickering, find humor where you can, realize the internet is a place where people can vent, brag, rip on each other, and do whatever else they want to do. Everyone needs to have thick skin and not get so easily offended. So many whiners and cry babies from every aspect. We have some that whine about auction tags and then some who whine about the whiners that are whining about the auction tags. Guess what, both are whiners. At the end of the day, if anyone on this site needed help packing an elk out (Heck even trophyhntr), i would be there in a second to help and i am sure many others would do the same. Everyone has and is allowed their own opinion, even if it doesnt match the opinion of guides and outfitters. That is the great thing about this country. We can agree to disagree and still help each other out. No one here is better than anyone else. The one thing I'd add to that is it'd be a pretty dang boring 'discussion forum', if everyone had the same opinion, point of view, etc. Seems like there has to be some variance in for the discussion to happen at all. I think everybody can agree that's an awesome deer though. I don't suppose anyone has a live photo of it floating around somewhere?

Blasphemy! blue moon is the nectar of the gods, literally about the best tasting beer on the planet (with or without the orange, I never mix beer with fruit.... almost never). In the eleventybillion years of written human history, we've yet to accomplish anything better than the brewing of this beer. Id probably feel pretty pissed too. But like others have said, once you put something up on the web anyone can grab it and use it. And people have no sense of morals when it comes to making money. There was a story like this on the news a while back where some porn guys had grabbed some pics from some gals facebook page and they turned up in some rather unsavory places, multiple porn sites and some adult dating/hook up sites. Couldnt really do anything other than contact the sites and demand they be taken down, but they web is so big she'll never find all of them.

That's pretty unbelievable. Gotta love the internet I guess. He's not but a few miles from my house, for a very reasonable fee I could be persuaded to head over & nut-punch him for you...

Jealous of who? Only person I'm jealous of is the Azgfd who gets to cash the checks for something they essentially had no part of. I freely admit that im jealous of this guy. Of course im also jealous of every single other user thats spent more than two days in the field this year! Old grumpy and jealous, as they say.

I like that attitude, and I hope you don't think I was taking a shot at you, or anyone specifically. My point of view is just that there's a difference between paying to kill a buck and hunting it. That's MY opinion only. It's certainly not law/ethics/whatever and I have no ill will against anyone hunting/killing anyway they want or for disagreeing with me. My personal view is that I'd rather eat every tag I ever hold than pay someone to hunt for me. Succeed or fail, it's all on me. That's how I like it, so that's how I do it. Because of that attitude I've eaten the only two elk tags I ever got and have waited five years so far (and counting) to get another. Some people don't have the stomach for that, so they should probably consider buying a trophy.

I'm sorry to hear about your dad and hope it turns out as well as possible. It's always good times hunting with the kids. I can't wait to get back out with my little girl this winter. She's a fourteen year old backpacking machine that'll out hike most of the adult men I know.

Is that the guy that fell on his spear? that was a nasty video. i think his spear fell from the tree and hit him in the leg, could have killed him so easy. he's got some cool archery vids too Yeah thats how it was. Scary situation! Im not sure I have the stones to stay as calm as he was just waiting for the ph to come back and get him. although i guess you really never know what you'll do until you're there.

Theres also a large number of people who would not pay for those services even though they could well afford it and are frankly not impressed with bought trophies. If theres anything wrong with this site, its not that people arent impressed. Its that its turning into a nonstop advertisement for guides and if anybody says anything at all that is even the least bit unflattering the guides and their leg-humpers oil their torches and sharpen their pitch forks for a good ole fashioned stake burning. That is a dang impressive deer though, and I sure would have loved to see him on the hoof.

uhhhhh...check out the first pic in the threadEdit....just went back and looked at it....I sure didnt see the A3 the first time I saw the pic It was not there johnnie ... I seen another pic floating around that it was not on .. Yeah, I dont remember seeing it on there either. Thats a helluva buck, no doubt about it.
