Buy local as much as you can, statistics say you are buying from a gun owner in AZ. Buy whatever you want otherwise and take lots of pictures sporting your purchases while carrying/hunting/fishing/trappingskinning/gutting etc. Be your own social media commercial.

That is outstanding.

Not my story to tell, But my buddy Buhlberg here on the site got it done @ 1:30 yesterday. He made a perfect shot and the bull expired within 80 yards from extreme pneumatic failure. I'll let him tell his story and post pics when he gets back down the hill.

I unfortunately dI'd not draw again this year but received some great news on my way down the hill. Pops and decided to go check out a portion of unit 8 today that neither of us was familiar with and my buddy called to let me know he drew Unit 8 rifle bull. It is his first elk tag and in a unit I love dearly. Can't wait to be there for everything involved. I'm almost as excited as when I draw my own tag.

Why would you rob the coyotes of their beloved purse dog snacks? I watched a coyote jump a 3 ft wall, snatch a sun bathing Pomeranian and then skip the same 3 ft wall in a serious drive-by move. I was so close to the action I almost spilled my beer. I felt like I was in "Boyz In The Hood".

I leave in the morning as an assistant on a late bull hunt for my brother from another mother. Sometimes circumstances allow you to manipulate the first Bull the hunter sees. I'm happy either way. It's his first elk hunt, I want him to have a good time and great memories. Good luck to all the elk hunters heading out for the late season, especially the young hunters and first timers.
