Can those Rossi levers handle +P ammo? If so, that's a real rough angle it looks like...

Snack size bag of fritos. Even when stale, semi palatable and good caloric content. No joke, one chip makes a decent firestarter. -
Grayboe stocks......a Mcmillan for less $$$.

I have a FN barreled action that I may or may not have slept with leading up to a hunt. It shoots better than anyone I've put behind it. Does that count? -
This one tugs at your inner gambler. There have been quite a few out of state winners for the raffle tags. It breaks my heart.

Just had to say I wore the previously mentioned shirt to have a pint with a fellow member. This guy who offered to help on my blatant e-scout request for crappie knowledge. I appreciate the starting points and it will stay tight to the vest. Thanks for being a solid dude and a pleasure to meet you CouesPursuit.

I wore my Beaver Street Brewery shirt today because of this thread.

My uncle sent me this pic from his place on the Dolores River in SW Colorado. Bears really are a$$holes.

Good on you sir. Just a point to offer on the post, the posting previous to yours was from 07/29/2014.

Dusty Dr/Lonesome Beaver Canyon. Haul extra water for safety.

Gorgeous. I would just be trying to guild the lilly.

I know. A small utility trailer makes tons of sense over a tow-behind for me. Tent rides in the same spot as the rest of camp. I have a shell, so dry travel for whatever needs it.i ditched the camper a few years ago. Then I ditched the 1 ton. Now my 1/2ton with up to 5 people my ranger on a small utility Trailer with 10days of gear can go any where any season in any weather. I get claustrophobic with 5, or more than 2 really. That includes me. I appreciate your tolerance.

Red Rabbit, can I ask what part of Colo you are heading to in fall? I spent quite a few falls up there when I was younger. There are a couple spots in SW that always made me wish I had talent and a lense.

Vince, I checked out the website for Salem. Which cloth weight is this tent. They seem pretty solid either way.

Wow. And he had his son with him. That's cool.

What's the lead time on seeing pics of these bad boys?

This looks terrifying. -
Yeah he is. I believe he gets the antleope tag in az and new mexico every year. Also has gotten 2-3 of the deer tags last couple years and also 2-3 of the elk tags. He has laid down some major cash the last 4 years. I'd do the same if I had that kind of money. I would not hesitate if I had the coin.

This guy has laid coin down on quite a few auction tags and killed some Toads. Is he part of the Gallo wine family?

Dennis is the only guy I use. Coming from a meat cutting background, he was the one I had the best feel from. And he's tied in with Heidi Favour at Signature Taxidermy (also great), not Mt. View Taxidermy. Thank you. Don't know how I screwed that up.

I've never used Casey's, but have had great results from Coconino. They tailor cut our steaks/roasts and package them for the wife and I. Weigh in is what you pay on, and return is very legit. Suet added for grind comes from Northern AZ grass fed beef if needed. He has one of the butchering contracts. Dennis also hooked us up with Heidi Favour @ Signature Taxidermy. Super happy with results.
