if 300” is your goal, I would swing at 8 or either of the 6’s for late rifle. With 8, you can find 30-40” on top of your 300” goal pretty easily.

Of all lakes, I have actually seen a couple dead Garter snakes there in the same predicament. If the fish is a little smaller, I think they can get to a point where either the gills or scales keep them from backing out of the deal.

I haven’t fished Rosey in 5-6 years. Last time I did though, one toss of the cast net was good for all day in bait. Just have to put those dummies in a round container. Otherwise the kill themselves by smashing their heads in.
