I have this scope and it’s a great scope. I had a yote pop up yesterday morning well within 40 yards, I was able to dial to 5x quickly. Very clear. I’ve got several 4-16x50 and I don’t see much difference at low power. Turners in Tucson had them on sale for $1050 a while back.

Couple months ago my wife and I cranked this song and a few others repeatedly on a road trip remembering the second concert we’d been to together in 91 or 92 at Toolies. $5 cover parking lot concert. Maybe the best concert I’ve seen to this day. The guy flat out rocked. RIP Chris

In the 80s they had guest speakers come in like on Tue or Thur evening to speak. If I remember right HG Listiak and Bob Hirsch were somewhat regulars

Absolutely! I guarantee there’s some bad blood between Shane and a game manager or two who during legal survey flyovers spot monster critters and then put in for that unit. Keep in mind I don’t hold it against a game manager for doing that, just a perk.

Yes. Definitely not condoning the illegal taking of wildlife but seems as though there is a lot of time wasted talking about these successful over achiever hunters.

This is unfortunately how some coues head hunters treat the country they pull good bucks out of. These guys were on a pretty tall knob that I’ve never seen anyone on. I stayed out when I knew they were in there on the 3rd hunt 3 years ago. I climbed up there in January to find this and it wasn’t all of it. I picked up more that had blown down the side of the hill after taking the pic. Really guys??? Couldn’t have weighed a quarter pound to haul it out!! I don’t see this crap getting any better! Absolutely hate having this conversation!

No tag for me this year but I’ve spent a ton of time helping on the last 2 wt hunts and the last 2 mornings on the muzzleloader hunt in 33. I’m not sure about deer numbers overall but from the poking around I’ve done in different canyons I believe that late rain scattered the critters around. We’ve found several wet spots in otherwise normally dry canyons this time of year. The big thing I’ve noticed in my home unit are the lions getting out of hand again. I think most hunters don’t do any off season predator hunting and it doesn’t help that a lot of lion hunters with dogs catch and release younger cats and not kill them because they’re not some monster tom, educating the heck out of them. A rancher friend of mine set trail cams at several drinkers trying to locate cows and he shared pics with me. One drinker had a pic of 3 younger lions at one time and the next night another older female. We killed one young lion in there last fall which was prior to him setting the cameras up so that was 5 that were living in that particular canyon prior.
