I honestly thought for the guys that sign up that all you had to do was check the box on the app when you get into range. Apparently you have to still create your own tag in the field probably with no signal so not sure how you get the validation code in that case?

This has been my biggest bitch with G$F lately. I haven’t had a lion tag in 2 years because they can’t keep their vendors in stock on the tag booklets! Every time I go in they say they’re waiting on the books. Maybe just coincidence but bs I’m not running all the way in to buy one at the office so I guess when I see a lion I’ll have to pass!😂

I talked with a friend in Benson who’s been trying to retire and he only does estate law anyway but he understands all this bs and he gave me the name of Joel Boroweic (spelling?) in Sierra Vista, if it happened in Cochise. Since it happened in Pima you could call him for a referral or call Marks office in Benson and ask his daughter Ann who they’d recommend for this type of thing. I’m sure they’d give you a few minutes of their time to explain how it goes. Battaglia/Roberts PC I believe. Look it up I don’t have the office number just His cell. It actually happened almost 2 years ago so there’s the whole statute of limitations thing. I just try to educate myself best I can before giving an attorney a dime. Yeah that comparable negligence thing is a load of crap!

Unfortunately he was to a certain degree at fault. We learned probably 30 years ago about comparable negligence in a similar accident where my wife wasn’t cited but we were assigned a certain percentage of liability. Basically for getting out of bed that morning she was considered partially liable. But yeah I’d ignore until they show whether there’s enough money involved to push it personally and he gets served or a certified mailing. I doubt it

If they’re reaching out to you personally, it’s probably because your insurance companies attorneys have told them go away. Seems weird. I’d ignore them.

Yeah I grew up there. Last house we built there in 2000 it broke my heart to put in one of those propane inserts that we never used! So we built an outdoor wood burning fireplace!

I replaced an Sig a couple years ago with a Vortex Razor 4000. Not a Vortex guy for the most part, Swaro everything else, but did it for the warranty. I’ve been happy with it so far. It has ranged to a little over 3000 yards for me and pretty dependable at over 2000 yards. That said the Leica 2400r is on sale at Scheels for 399.00. I would’ve gone that route if I could have gotten one at that price. Might be a little out of his range but something to consider

I did a vin search on my 21 and just the one open recall that I knew about came up (tailgate latch) so assuming they didn’t customize all of them? I too wish I’d never gotten rid of my 5.9!

Where I hunt a lot of the younger bucks are still friends. The older bucks have been singles since early Nov but zero chasing. Probably won’t see hard core action till mid Jan

That’s the smart thing to do but sometimes you just can’t let them get one over! 25 years ago I had a customer owed $3500 on a completed landscape and he ghosted me for a month. Finally I took 3 guys over to his place and started pulling queen palms out and putting them in the trailer. He came running out with his check book claiming he’d been out of town. Funny thing was I knocked on the door prior to letting the games begin and nada. Took us a couple hours to put the yard back together and clean it up! 😂 Sure made me feel better though!!

When I can physically no longer get in and out of the remote areas I hunt to get away from this douche baggery you guys talk about, that’s when I quit hunting! I never had this conversation but I honestly can’t ever think of a situation ever where I’d get into a man made, tent like blind that I hadn’t purchased and wouldn’t expect to get my butt kicked for refusing to leave it if the owner came along. That’s just me. What’s the difference between this and taking over someone’s tent? Just curious?
