What is diesel down there or have noticed? I tanked up in Benson last week because it was 4.69 I think. Went back into town last weekend at it was 4.95 I was like nah it’s cheaper in Tucson Well nope I had to give 5.02

So it wasn’t the 2 licenses. What about the fact that there were like 7 tags leftover in 35b and that was our 5th choice. I know, their system is infallible.

A few years ago I put in with my nephew. I did the app and he was telling me he had 2 freakin licenses. I asked how’s that and apparently G&F site crashed when he was half way through paying for the license or so he thought. He signed back in and purchased a license not knowing that he’d purchased the previous one unknowingly. G&F told him to pick one and they’d cancel the other. Well somehow one didn’t get cancelled and we didn’t draw. Our fifth choice there were leftovers and we both talked to 2 different gals with G&F who told us the system probably kicked us out because of the 2 license numbers of his. Im not even sure how their computer would let that happen. I was pissed but I was slammed with work so I never followed through with trying to get them to make it right

So does G&F have 2 license numbers for you in their system? As jacked up as their system is I wonder if your app would get kicked out for having 2 license numbers.

Yeah doesn’t seem like there was much of a fight. The idiots who say we hunters are inhumane have never watched a pack of 4-5 coyotes fight over a little red or fawn.

I missed the front yard part too. I haven’t installed 1/4” minus as a decorative stone in a long time but 25-30 years ago we did a bunch of landscapes in an area in north Scottsdale where 1/4” minus was the only material that could be used because of the native desert look they were after.

Yep most hunters don’t get out and do their part to thin them out and it shows in our area. Between lions and yotes the pig numbers are almost non existent and whitetail are hurting too. If he’s after the real native desert look go with 1/4” minus. 1/4” and 3/8” screened does have very little fines but if he has a dog or kids he might regret it as it rolls under foot and when dogs or kids run it will spray all over the place on decks, in pools etc. and it has more of a tendency to stick to the tread of shoes and then you’re walking it in the house. If you go with a screened rock I’d do what Wildwoody said and go with 1/2” screened

You’re probably overthinking it a bit but if it’s not your craft then that’s understandable. We used to just try to remove anything over larger than 1/2”-3/4” before installing. If the job was in an area where it’s real rocky just figure the stone a little heavier. 1/4” minis will usually go down at 2” depth if you figure it around 130-140 sq ft per ton but if the surface is difficult to grade just figure it like 100-120 sq ft per ton and you’ll be good. Is it Madison gold or are they still mining that down there?
