Thank YOU for YOUR service to this great country!šŗšøšŗšøšŗšø

Yeah I laughed while doing it

This happened to me a few years back. Going up a nasty trail where I almost never see anyone. At a nasty choke point an asshat parked his rig on the trail thinking heād have the trail to himself and nobody could get back to the end of the trail. Little did he know I knew the country pretty well and went back 200 yards, drove off the trail and went way around(technically breaking the law I know). As I got close to the end of the trail and I was trying find a spot to crawl my General back up to the trail I could see 2 hat lights above and appeared they were stopped and looking at me, I made it to the trail and parked at the end and continued with my day. I honestly donāt understand how these idiots can block you and then walk off not caring that they could come back to 4 slashed tires and a super long hike out!

dang whatās wrong with these pukes! You donāt hear very often that hunters out of a lack of respect refuse to work with ranchers! Iām embarrassed that fellow hunters would act this way. So many wonder why ranchers have shut so many areas down in the last few decades! Well there you go!

I doubt douche bags like that will quit their illegal activities just because their legal hunting rights have been taken away. Theyāll just be more sneaky

Some of your best memories about the outdoors?
Sky Island junkie replied to knothead's topic in The Campfire
My most memorable trip was when my dad took us to McCoys crossing on the White River more than 45 years ago. Itās where I got hooked on stream fishing. Probably fished 5 miles of that stream in 4 days pitching rooster tails and mepps spinners. I never forgot that first trip and didnāt know how special the place was to my dad until 6 months before he passed in 2016. He told me thatās where he wanted his ashes spread. My mom wants her ashes spread with him so Iāll be going back one of these days -
A friend of mine bought this exact rifle for his boy. We were out shooting my dinger at 760 about a year ago and if I remember right it shot roughly a 6ā 5 shot group. I think it was shooting 143s at like 2940 vs the 143s through my creed at 2650. He didnāt like the brake so he put a Witt machine brake on it. I think $550 is a good deal for this rifle

I saw this and figured if pick one up too because thatās a great deal but sold out in Tucson in looks like

And with a blink of an eye Iām in Mrs. Larsons freshman English class!

Dude I hope your house sits up a bit!

Right. Itās hard to get excited about the forecasts of complete deluge rainstorms when those forecasts turn out to produce 10 drops for us lately. The last storm we had we got 2.75ā on a 5% chance
-
Either the weather idiots are stoned or this will be like the flooding of the early 80s
-
Weāre at 4600. Itās crazy how isolated these cells can be. I had a job a few years ago that was less than a mile from the house and we got 10 drops and they got 2ā
-
Yeah weāre south of you. Funny thing is we always complain thinking that you guys get more than we do! Lol I guess we got more this time!
-
Everything was running on Thursday afternoon when I got home. We got 2.75ā from early afternoon through midnight our drive was pretty torn up in a couple places IMG_1980.mov

When I was a kid I remember my grand dad telling me on a couple occasions shore fishing at Lake Pleasant shooting burros that came to water, opening them up and dumping the guts off shore and having phenomenal catfishing. Ahh the good ol days!

I voted for him and would again but honestly wished he could have reined it in too. Mixed on that. Probably strike while the irons hot I guess!
-
Too young man! Sorry for the loss!
-
Question is if you were going to be taken out would you want to go doing something you love or something you hate. But you knew thatās what I meant Iām sure

Dang this is sad! Live like every day is your last! At least they were hunting and not working!

What a truly powerful memorial for Charlie yesterday! So much spirit, love and hope! I was reminded what a failed Christian I am when Erika forgave Tyler Robinson! That was the most powerful statement I have heard a person say ever! I know many of our āpoliticalā enemies watched that yesterday and I believe that it touched some! Thank you Charlie, Erika, the 2 children that will never know their father and Charlieās parents for sacrificing for this divine intervention that this world needed badly!
