I'll have to jump in on this one. Yes, a little emabarrassing, but fun to see the boy grow up between the two. Notice that hat didn't change. Fortunately, we have shot 17 other pigs, including some real bruisers.

For sale- Savage 111 trophy package in 25-06. Synthetic stock, blued, accutrigger, factory bases, rings, Nikon 3-9X40, 50 rounds loaded with 100 gr. Sciroccos, 50 rounds loaded with 110 gr accubonds, 1 box (50) 110 gr accubond bullets, and RCBS FL 25-06 dies. Both loads shoot at an inch or better, and I can share the load data. This rifle is about 6 months old, and has about 100 rounds down the pipe. Great shooter, I have just decided to take things in a different direction. For someone looking for an accurate, field ready setup this would fit the bill very nicely. Rifle has only been shot off a bench, and never in the field. Easily 9+/10. Savage 111 7mm Magnum. Same rifle as above, but without the scope. 1 year old, about 175 rounds down the barrel. Never taken into the field, only shot off bench. I developed a 139 gr SST load that shoots lights out for this rifle that I can share. FTF in the Tucson/Marana area only. No trades please. $475 for the 25-06 package and extras, and $375 for the 7mm Mag. PM with any questions. I will try to get some pics posted tomorrow night.

Anyone have experience with these? I just bought a package, and plan on trying them out on my pig hunt this weekend. Very cool how you can adjust the band position for speed of arrow flight. http://www.xecutionerbroadheads.com/

I have five sub-$500 rifles that all shoot well under an inch, after considerable load development. The last one up to the plate was my 7mm mag. Took about 15 iterations, but I finally nailed it. Have verified in 3 different outings, using either 4 or 5 shot groups. If anyone would like my recipes feel free to shoot me an IM. I have loads for 110 gr TTSX .270, 130 gr TTSX .270, 85 gr TSX .243, 110 gr accubond 25-06, and now 140 gr SST in 7mm mag. Happy Holidays to everyone!

A very wise hunter finally broke down and shared the secret of harvesting big bucks. I've hunted for a lot of years, and could never really put my finger on it, but after he told me, it became so simple. So here it is for everyone to know: The secret to always shooting big bucks is.... Don't shoot the small ones. There you have it. I'm not much of a trophy hunter yet because I really like having meat in my freezer and filling my tags. Between me and my kids, we've killed 4 javelinas and 3 deer this year. For me, that's pretty cool. 3 of my last 4 coues were with a bow, which for me is also pretty cool. Maybe this thread is starting to inspire me, and I'll start letting a few of the smaller ones pass. Happy hunting everyone!

It has the Accutrigger, but no Accustock. The stock does come pillar bedded though.

I wish it were 4 months from now. This is exactly what I will be looking for. If for some reason you don't sell it, I would have an interest at that point.
