The boys and i wore life jackets when the big motor was on but I let them take em off when we were trolling with the electric motor. They know how to swim and it was glass on the lake that morning. Game and fish chewed my as. And threw the book at me. Learned a good lesson that day, let me tell you. Great times.

I know what you mean, but they do have the remote shut off on the 2200 which is nice. My son has 2 of them so you only go out once when its blowing and freezing versus twice....great product and price.
