I always thought you had to have a guide? Maybe it used to be that way not sure. Good luck on the hunt, I know they kill some big ones there.

At the check station last year they asked if we saw any elk, I said no. I asked if anyone had seen any an he said no.

Alot of elk bull rare elk trophies in this unit.

Last year was the best crappie fishing in many years. Nothing like the old days but I would get 6 to 12 every time I went out. And they were big ones. So that is a good sign.
