Last year was the best crappie fishing in many years. Nothing like the old days but I would get 6 to 12 every time I went out. And they were big ones. So that is a good sign.

My niece shot 3 cows whe she was a kid with 243 100 gr. All less then 150 yards, no problem.

Got 1 charge, either early rifle bull for me with 19 points, or my son has a cow tag 2 years in a row.

You were in the right area. We saw alot in January and stuck a few. A friend went 6 for 6 lat weekend on the rifle hunt. They are there.
