Great bull! What year is the Foreman? Just sold ours and it looks exactly like that! PS, that is one helll of a beard!

Even though Elkaholic insists that what his chart says, over me being out working in it that night, I can tell you it was very dark at 130 that morning. Maybe not pitch black, but very dark.
-
Casey, When you are out there in the pitch dark looking thru the night vision, what kind of detail can you see? Are you only able to see the silhouette of the body and firearm, are there times when you cant make out the detail of another Agent's uniform, etc? It depends. Distance, how bright it is etc.

What are you talking about Jeff... You're being narrow minded about allowing them to take one of our hunting styles so they will then there go after others. It wont happen and lets remember "This is called the slippery slope fallacy, and it has no place in intelligent discussion. It is only useful in presidential debates and political commercials."

I'll gladly talk about the game! The first half wasn't that great. A little shaky but still a close game. In the second half, U of A dominated Stanford and basically scored at will. The defense needed to play better instead of the trading 7 for 7, back and forth scoring. When U of A had the 14 point lead, I thought it was game over. Unfortunately, the defense fell asleep and allowed 14 unanswered points, and Stanford's defense finally decided to show up. With momentum swinging towards Stanford, U of A had the ball at the 17 yard line with 2 time outs and 45 seconds left. That is not a lot of time, but mental aspect, in my opinion should have been to play for the win instead of settle for the OT. Also, in my opinion the Coach took the wind out of the sails and completely let the air out of his team by being content instead of at least TRYING to go for the win! From an outsider looking it, it showed that Rich Rod had no trust in his team and he did not think they were able of driving down the field with short time to win the game. Would they have done it? Who knows, but the fact remains (again, in my opinion) that if he would have showed faith in his team and given an attempt at winning the game instead of settling for OT, that the team would have came out full of piss and vinegar in the OT round, instead of flat and morally defeated. The bottom line is yes, U of A lost and thats really all that matters. However, I am still confident they will be victorious come November 23!

If I recall correctly (which, I am SURE of), it was a ASU fan who originally came up with that 'idea'...

What people like you fail to see is the BIG picture. Your, and others narrow mindedness on the situation will only negatively effect other hunters. What I mean by that is when you start opening doors for them to banning things, they (who ever the purposing entity might be) will never be happy. For instance, if WE allow liberals, government whom ever ban automatic weapons next thing you know they are going after 30 round mags, then 20 round mags eventually leading to all AR-15 having to be shot as single shot rifles, one bullet at a time. Basically, if you let them get their foot in the door WHO KNOWS if/when they will be content with what they have been banned! Even if baiting isn't your thing (it's not mine but I have NOTHING against it), the fact of the matter is it is a form of hunting so we ALL should support it no matter what!

***SNAKES STILL VERY MUCH OUT
firstcoueswas80 replied to hoghntr's topic in Small Game, Upland Bird, and Waterfowl Hunting
Last night was the first night in 8 days that I have not seen a snake. -
IMO, quite the opposite! They were scoring at will in the second half and the coach totally took the wind 100% out of their sails. VERY disheartening loss.
-
What a hard fought game by the Wildcats, to be pissed away by a stupid decision by the coach.
-
WOW What a horrible decision! 45 seconds left, 2 time outs, Matt Scott having thrown for something like 400-500 yards and you let the clock run out?! HUGE misplay Rich Rod!
-
Yes, because Colorado and Arizona are exactly the same. I was working that night, and at approximately 0130 hours, I was driving, and I can tell you there was very little to NO moon light. But you're right, what the moon was doing in COLORADO is exactly the same as it was doing in very much southern ARIZONA.
-
have you seen where the moon position has been at the time the shooting lately? It is been down making it pitch black outside!

Yeah..... Its election time! And another agent getting killed by illegals would greatly put holes in the "border is more secure then ever" claim by the people in charge.

I am surprised no one has mention the Montana Creek copper creams etc. I have used them, and I like their solvents but have not been too impressed with the copper cream. -
Very cool, Napoleon! Lets hear some story!

My dad had a 300-315" bull at 12 yards sitting water. Drew back on him, adjusted his feet and snapped a twig and they came our of their skin. Stalked a raghorn, he pushed his cow to 30 yards, my Dad drew back and of course the bull went around the tree instead of through the shooting lane. Called a bull into 40 yards, but he came in from behind us and saw me calling.
