    Garmin Rangefinder

I glanced at it and it looks pretty sweet. But did I miss the ballistics features? Everything that I saw seemed more for navigation than actually for shooting which seems to be the purpose of a rangfinder.

    Tough bowhunt...

Looks like it is a tough year to be a decent buck. Congrats on a great buck. Would love to hear the story. Given the picture it looks like it was spot and stalk.

    Central AZ Coues Rut?

I was in Pine yesterday for a home inspection and they were chasing each other around all morning long. And this was right in the middle of cabins that were less than 50 yards from each other. I had bucks and does run by at less than 5 yards a couple different time. It was crazy to watch and made it hard to work.

    Rotator cuff surgery

The ice bath thing is pretty cool. It is a little cooler with a pump in it like the ones for fish tanks. It circulates water through a line with a little water cooled pad that wraps your shoulder. We put water in the cooler with a few frozen water bottles and it circulates the cold water. She ordered it through her insurance.

    Rotator cuff surgery

My wife just had the same surgery done this last Tuesday. They relocated the bicep at the same time. She is in a sling until she goes back in to the see the Dr on the 24th. But he said that after the first few days once the original bandages come off and she can shower she could exercise the elbow a little so that it doesn't freeze up. And little circular motions with her arm hanging straight down. So far, so good. It is important to stay on top of the pain. Don't try to be the guy that just deals with the pain. It will make it way worse.
  9. I am selling my Savage/Lazzeroni Patriot rifle and everything that goes with it. The rifle has approximately 200 rounds through it and has killed pretty much everything that it has ever shot at. I took it to Lance here on the sight about 5 years ago and he worked up the load for it. It has always shot great but I wanted him to tweak it in and get the most of the load. It will come with the die set, several hundred bullets, over a pound of powder and all the ammo and brass that I have. Lazzeroni stopped making the Patriot and the brass so I have some brass that is head stamped different that I neck sized up. There is also about 900 Federal GM210m primers and Lances notebook with all the data. Feel free to call or message me with any questions. I am looking to get $800 for everything. Feel free to make me an offer. Thanks for looking. 480-294-5673

    Gambel Quail mount SOLD

He did a bull for me. It turned out great. The last I heard he moved to Queen Creek and was still doing taxidermy.

    How nice is it

A buddy and I ran the ski rentals at Alpine Ski and Sports in the late 80's when we moved down here. We worked about 80 hours a week and took off Friday night for Sunrise to ski Saturday and Sunday and came back home and did it all over again. Those were a couple great years. Plus we got to ski for free in AZ because we worked there. There was always great snow back then. I have a bull tag coming up and see that we are supposed to get more moisture next weekend. As good as it is I don't want to see it during the hunt. It may be miserable out there. Hopefully not like 2019 when the big storm came through Thanksgiving night. We had tags that year too and it was horrible the first few days.

    Unit 23 Coues

There are deer north of Roosevelt. I have a friend that had the early tags and hunted north of the lake below Armor Mountain and were in deer everyday. I didn't hear how they ended up doing but I know they saw bucks.

Men head to jail for poaching

I was wondering if I would know any of them. I grew up there. None of the names were familiar though. I guess that is a good thing.

    Spring Draw

How many points does it take to draw a general turkey tag now a days? It is crazy that I can't draw a turkey tag. I have drawn 3 rifle bull tags in the same time. It isn't like I am trying to draw a Goulds tag or something.
