Wow, great buck. Congrats to your daughter. I was up on the Kaibab this weekend scouting and didn't see one velvet buck. A few of them had almost black antlers that were in the burn area.

I am here in Mesa right off Crismon and the 60. The actual Crismon creek runs about 50 yards behind my house. And I have seen it raging with water before. So I know I would have some water coming in my back door.

Looks like he got stung by something. I had a black lab that got stung by a scorpion and his poor face swelled up and he looked just like a black bear. Lasted a couple days and he was fine.

Great bull. I was just talking to the hunter last Friday and he was on his way back up. I am glad he was able to get it done.

Amanda sells the carbon Promaster here on the site. I have been using it for a couple years now and am very happy with it. I took my Jim White head off my old tripod and now have a great setup.

My question is do you take all of your pictures looking straight down? Even the picture in your avatar is straight down. You are lucky. I took my wife out this last weekend camping and went out to do some glassing. I watched a bunch of elk on a ridge and could never get my wife to see them. I thought I was going to lose it. Finally took a picture through my binocs with my phone and showed her the picture. So I don't think there is much hope for me.

I love it. My heart was pounding so hard I had a headache. It doesn't get better than that. Great bull.

That bear is a lot bigger than the bear I saw this last weekend. The more air I see under the belly the smaller I think the bear is. I saw one with what looked like skinny long legs.

You have to wonder if any of the bulls in the pictures were from clients of theirs.

That is cool. Especially setting up the trail cameras to catch them. We have a couple small dogs so I wouldn't be quite as glad to see them in my yard.
