I have installed muzzle brakes on two rifles and had Accuracy Speaks do both of them. They are out at Rio Salado shooting range. You cannot see the line on either of my barrels and I don't think I paid over $200 for either of them. They do great work.

I have only sold a couple rifles over the years and they were here on the site. Nothing that brings regrets. However I do have a few in the gun safe that I will keep forever. Rifles handed down from my grandpa and dad. Probably not worth a lot but lots of sentimental value.

12A west early for me. Knew the unit was just hoping for the late tag. We will still have a blast.

The G & F site is making changes. None of my draw info is available now. Today is going to be the day. At least I hope.
-
Usually I am not this bad about checking the G and F website all the time. But knowing I drew a Kaibab tag does something to you. I sure hope it is soon.
-
Ernesto is the man! He can hook you up.

That is a great idea. I know I drew a Kaibab tag since I only put in for that unit so I may do the same thing. Save pulling the trailer back and forth a couple times. Even if you left it somewhere in Flagstaff it would be better than hauling it up and down off the rim.

I think that is about the only time I would ever consider petting a rattlesnake. Cool pictures!

AZbowhntr replied to cmc's topic in Conservation Group Events
So how was the banquet? Thought that there would be more action on this thread. -

Looks like a great time. I have known Steve for a long time. Great guy. -
That will get the blood flowing. Not to mention everything else. Get any pictures of it?

I agree with resolute. I am a home inspector and get to see first hand what happens when people turn their ac too high or off. You will have a lot of drywall cracks throughout your home. Almost every garage I look at has some for that same reason. I think 85 would be the max. If your water main is set up right you should also be able to turn off the water to the home without turning the landscape water off. That way you won't possibly come home to a flooded home.

Great pictures. Looks like you have at least one digger there (freshly dug hole in yard). -
I have the same call and have called in several does. I have never had the opportunity to call in a buck though so can't say if it works. I have rolled my window down on my running truck and had does come up within 10' of my truck a couple times (coues and muleys). I used it once at the rim on the north side of the grand canyon with about 20 people standing around and called in a doe. Most of the people were tourist and freaked out that a deer came running right through everyone to my call. I don't ever late archery hunt but if I did I would use it to try calling in does with hopefully a buck tagging along. Almost like calling for bulls during the elk rut.

That is crazy. It would be awesome to be able to hear his story of what has happened the last 5 months. -
I have Slogan Outdoors rifle slings on all my rifles. They are made out of a rubber material that stretch. By far the best sling I have ever seen. Google them and watch the demonstrations. Pretty impressive.

Do you agree with G&F forcing kids to take Hunter Safety???
AZbowhntr replied to Big Browns's topic in Youth Hunters
To me it sounds like they think the class is going to be horrible like school. I would try to change the way they look at the class as being fun. It sounds like everyone that has taken the class has had a blast. -
The Deadline is in... What did you put in for?

Going from 15x58 to 12x50. Will I regret it?
AZbowhntr replied to kennyazman's topic in Optics and tripods
I haven't looked through the 12s but I recently bought the Meopta 10X50s and absolutely love them. I think they are much better glass than the Vortex. But like a couple others have stated I wouldn't get rid of your 15s if you don't have to. -

Did mine today. System worked just like it is supposed to. -
Unfortunately I dread this time of year. I am a home inspector and get to climb around in a couple attics a day. I have been in older homes with horrible ventilation that are over 150 degrees sometimes.
