I wonder why earlier today they had unit 1 and unit 6A mule deer shutting down at sundown August 30th, 2023 but now they both say closed as of sundown September 6th, 2023? Both of their quotas were filled before sundown August 30th, or atleast that is what it had shown for the number killed for each unit.

This state is ruined now.

I've had a little better luck on the first hunt, but the second hunt can be good too.

You can pick up a off road travel management map at the forest service office in Flagstaff or William's Arizona. The arizona game and fish office in Flagstaff, Arizona might have them as well. The travel management map just shows you what roads are open to go down. Although I don't agree with the travel management, it is what it is. Also, on the south Kaibab national forest you can go a mile off road to retrieve your downed elk. Most of unit 7 west lies on the south Kaibab national forest. ATV's are legal on all opened roads on the travel management map, you just need an OHV sticker. Good luck on your hunt if you decide to go.

Liberals want your guns, and wolves to eat all your game animals so you have nothing to hunt. If you're voting for a liberal, then you're voting for someone that wouldn't blink to take the gun that you use for hunting. Also most liberals want to get rid of hunting.

About time that they banned trail cams. I see that you don't like talking about the first round of comments back in January that went in favor of a trail cam ban or regulations to cameras 1274 to 1200. Also in the second round of comments March 11th through April 11th, they didn't even ask people to comment on whether they wanted a ban or not. They said to comment on the two new proposals of a quarter mile from water, and trail cams from February 1st thru June 30th as long as they're not placed within a quarter mile of a water source. I remember you going out telling people to send comments for a non ban, but nothing was ever mentioned in the Arizona Game and Fish email that was sent out to comment on supporting a trail cam ban. So in the second round of comments people probably had no idea whether to comment in support of a ban because they weren't asked to.

It looks like Tucson and San Tan Valley got hit pretty hard.

Looking at radar yesterday it looked like the kaibab and 12b got some decent rain. I'm not sure how much rain that it's going to take to open the forests.

They have now updated the Rafael fire under incident command online. It looks like it's almost to Turkey butte in unit 6b and lonesome pocket in unit 8. Hopefully they get some rain up there the next couple of days.
