Yeah, that $499 kind of bites. I can build a complete AR for $400, so I have a little bit of a hard time with $499 for the upper, bolt, and charging handle. I'm patient and will watch that to see when it drops in price. Thank you for the info.

If you are welding to the pipe, oilfield pipe can be a challenge as it tends to be saturated with the oil which can interfere with a strong weld. On the flip side, it seems to hold up very well to the elements, even when buried.

You may be on the wrong forum for that type of item and price. Perhaps the forums where they sold higher would work better for you. Certainly Ebay reaches a much larger audience and one that is not as specialized. Best wishes and good luck with your sale.
