Law was passed while Jack Williams was in office, circa 1971. Wesley Bolin made it very popular for a while, like a trade mark of Arizonans, if my memory serves me correctly.

Nice! The take down model is really fun! Didn't Browning design them?

You'd have fun with that! You're deadly enough now with out it. -
Back went at 40, knees are still good. Two back surgeries and in the over 60 club. We are built to hurt, just not excessively. I've been very blessed so far, can't do what I used to, but things could be much, much worst. I truly wish they were better for you. I got lucky with my back surgeries, did a lot of homework, and had one of the better doctors. Not a Veteran but know if you are, stay away from the Veterans hospital. Those guys are still learning medicine and truly practice on you. I know too many people who have had bad results there. Wish I had good advice. Just try to stay positive and keep as active as you reasonably can. Greatest wishes!

Very nice. Looks like a nickle boron BCG. Super caliber. Sure adds up in a hurry. Sorry about your physical issues. No fun getting older, but worst if we don't. I figure they call them the golden years be cause we wind up spending all of our "gold" to survive those years. Best wishes with your sale and prayers for your health.

Do you have the other chrome plate that it comes with? Plates are about $20 each with tax and shipping. -
I believe I have a bunch of used you may have. Mostly 22lr. I'll dig it up this weekend. I had read it was reloadable, but difficult. I was thinking of trying the challenge some day, but won't really get to it. Glad to give it to you. Now I just have to find where I put them.😁

That would do it.

I got to play this time. But I ignored it. They are like a Never Ending Story!

A custom new inline runs well over $2,500 when done correctly. Todd at Southern Xpress built mine. 354 yard accurate kill shot on my first hunt with a BP rifle. And... they are talking about outlawing them so it could be money somewhat wasted. CVA Accuras are nice rifles. What distance and accuracy are you looking for? Several of the newer "old style" inlines may be converted to handle large rifle primers/magnum primers. That is an less expensive way to go. Why not get a cheap older inline that uses the 209 primer first to play with and get used to and then decide which way you want to go on the newer inlines. My Custom inline shoots $3.00 ea. Nosize 45 cal bullets via $10.00 each reusable brass casings primed with Federal Large Rifle Magnum primers using 111 grains of $55.00 per 10oz container of Blackhorn 209. Not real economical to say the least, but extremely accurate! Todd has built several of these extreme custom inlines and builds them very well! But they cost big $$ Hunt was posted early 2021 on Campfire.

The brakes may be screw clamp or have jam nuts (double nuts, the second tightened against the first to jam it and keep it from changing position) as well. A Smith will cut the threads so the break lines up correctly when the brake runs out of threads on the barrel. A Smith may also cut the brake such that it looks like it is a built-in piece of the barrel, where possible. A great Smith, like Todd, makes it look seamless as seen in my previous pic. Not a dumb question. We can't always learn without asking some questions, or sometimes being corrected.

This is a timed or clocked brake. Custom Muzzy by Todd @ Southern Xpress built Sept. 2021. Shot my first Muley Oct. 2021at 354 yards in a gusting wind of 15 to 40 mph. Not only functional, but very beautiful. (111gr Blackhorn 209, 45 cal Arrowhead NS (nosize) bullet.) Brake worked great. Recounted my hunt in Campfire.
