Congrats to all and what a nice looking bull. Unit 23, right? Eddie

Four Crew Members Overdose on Shogun this morning. Trip Cancelled.
eddielasvegas replied to PRDATR's topic in Fishing
4 at once? Does that seems possible if they were all drug users? If so, that certainly should give the fishing paying public the warm and fuzzies to charter a boat. The vid says the captain left on a stretcher. Durn. And the vid says all were given Narcan and that brought them all back. Such a blessing that they all lived to use another day. Eddie -
Thanks for your reply and I must be hearing things in the other vid. Or my memory is gone. I vote for the latter. Eddie

Good story and congrats to all. I hear the din of traffic in the first two vids. How close was the nearest road? Eddie

Vortex's Lifetime Transferable Warranty Is The Real Deal...
eddielasvegas posted a topic in The Campfire
Hello All, Just wanted to give Vortex a shout out and BIG thank you. I bought a pair of Kaibab 15x56 binos from a forum member about 18 months ago. They served me well until a few weeks ago when the focus knob stopped working. I sent them in as instructed on the Vortex web site and after 3+ weeks still had not got them back and I'm leaving Friday for a scouting trip. I sent their CS an email late Thursday night simply asking for an update on when they might be returned given my upcoming trip. Well, today via UPS Next Day Air, I received a brand new pair of Kaibab 18x56 binos. I mean brand spanking new. Pretty durn awesome. A HUGE thanks to Vortex and Kathy K. for my excellent customer service. Eddie -
Congrats and I'll bet that elk stew is going to taste great!!!! Eddie

Taste test between Medaglia D'Oro and Mount Hagen is complete. Testers were my daughter (21 years old ) and me (age unknown). Followed directions for each and added 1/2 & 1/2 and sugar, which is how I drink my coffee. Our totally unscientific, yet completely unbiased opinion is Medaglia D'Oro is the better coffee. More flavor and body and less like most instant coffees. The Mount Hagen is not bad in the least but is like every other instant coffee....flat with not a lot of flavor. The Medaglia D'Oro is a step or two up so that'll be going with me in a few weeks and the french press will be staying home. Eddie

Remarkable footage. Thanks for posting. Eddie

I bought a pair after all that jive talk about BM and stopping bullets. I know Merrel makes a good product, which is why I decided to give them a try. Thanks OP. Eddie

A HUGE congrats and what a beautiful bull. Eddie

Anybody know what "Ballistic Mesh" is? Can it stop bullets? On a more serious note, I wish one did not have to pay for return shipping if fit was not right. Eddie

I ordered the Mount Hagen too. Both should be here in the next couple days and I'll post up my thoughts this weekend. Eddie

I just ordered 3 jars of Medaglia. If it's as good as the reviews say, it's a good trade off for convenience, ease of use and price. Eddie

My elk scouting and hunts are coming up so timely topic. Thanks. I'm a bit of a coffee snob too but cleaning up a french press while in the field uses too much water and is just nasty and not efficient. Going to have to try the Cafe Bustelo instant. Eddie

Durn and okay. Sorry for breaking CWT protocol. In that case, and since the GMU is off limits, just give me the latitude and longitude. That'll be close enough. 😀 Eddie P.S. Thanks Addicted. 👍

I was expecting a really small pistol like a Rohrbaugh, but I get it. Eddie

Kewl vid. Thanks for posting. Which unit? Eddie

Is this what you are talking about? And more importantly, this is little to you? Eddie

I cannot help with 22N, but I'd like to extend to you a laurel (virtual, of course), and hardy handshake (again, virtual) and say welcome to CWT. Eddie

What a bummer. I would have called them to see what they advised to do just to minimize any confusion of what was (or wasn't in this case) done. No need to have them do the maintenance to have them honor your warranty. You only need to document the work you (or someone else) did. I would vote for the former. Good luck and keep us posted.
